Introducing HUSK’s debut EP ‘Hymns’ – an ugly slab of blackened Northern European hardcore that blends elements of Black Breath, Converge, Rotten Sound, Cursed and Skitsystem.
With production handled by KVELERTAK guitarist Bjarte Lund Rolland at Caliban Studios in Oslo, ‘Hymns’ seethes ugliness and nihilism, drawing on elements of grindcore, hardcore, d-beat, crust and metal to create HUSK’s unique, negative sound.
About HUSK
HUSK does not call one country home, with members coming together from Australia, Botswana and Norway.
With the threat of deportation looming, HYMNS EP was recorded in 3 chaotic days at Caliban Studios, Oslo by KVELERTAK guitarist, Bjarte Lund Rolland.
Mixing was completed on the road and mastering was handled by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (of GodCity Studios mastering fame) with the final cover layout assembled by Rob Hamilton.
