“Smoked-out, psychedelic drone-fuzz” outfit Adrift for Days have been shaking the foundations of Sydney for the past 12 months with some of the best in the drone business – names like Looking Glass, Space Bong, Clagg, Agonhymn, Sons of the Ionian Sea and more. Now they head to Melbourne on May 21 and 22 to spread their pious message of drone.
The group have been compared to international heavyweights such as Earth, Neurosis, Electric Wizard, Om, Sleep and Isis. They have been called “a recognised highlight in the Australian doom scene” an described as a “cinematic stoner psychedelic sludge doom drone” group playing “bleak, claustrophobic blues-influenced music”.
