Presenting CONSUMED’s hard hitting self-titled debut – a chaotic onslaught of Brisbane-based grinding blackened hardcore.
Sharing some similarity to bands such as The Secret and Celeste, the intense 16-minutes of aggression captured on the album seethes with a familiar fire to many of the blackened death inspired bands which surged at the beginning of the decade.
CONSUMED’s self-titled will no doubt prove itself as a force to be reckoned with inside Australia’s heavy music scene. Despite counterbalancing the grinding black metal segments with the odd sludge-styled riff, the album barely leaves room for restraint – constantly pounding on riff after riff with the life-ending terror of a heart attack.
Fans of blast beats, sludge-soaked segments, gritty vocals and short songs will not only find themselves right at home with this release – they’ll be hungry for more.
